Wolfe County Jail Roster Overview
The Wolfe County jail roster path is not a Wolfe sheriff page. Wolfe County's official resources page lists Three Forks Regional Jail as the jail contact, and the jail's own Current Inmates page loads a Public Safety Cloud/JailTracker roster. The regional jail serves Wolfe, Lee, and Owsley counties, so the search may contain more than one county's custody stream if the agency configuration exposes that data.
The roster is best for current or recent regional jail custody. It is not a full court case file, a statewide criminal-history report, or a federal detainee locator. A jail record may show the arrest-side booking data first, while the court record later shows what charges were filed, amended, dismissed, or resolved. For court charges after booking, use the Kentucky Court of Justice docket and the Wolfe County Circuit Court Clerk.
Wolfe County's sheriff page is mainly a contact and tax page. It does not publish a jail roster, booking report, warrant search, jail visitation rules, or open-records form in the inspected sources. That makes the county resources page important because it points jail users to Three Forks rather than a local Wolfe-only jail list.
The official Three Forks Current Inmates page is the Wolfe County starting point for local jail custody.
The image shows the official current-inmates page that routes users from the jail website into the JailTracker roster interface.
Use Wolfe County Inmate Roster
Start with broad name data, then narrow only when needed. During research, the direct API inspection did not return active named records, so no inmate names were copied. The interface itself confirmed the search tools and list fields. A missing result can mean the person was not booked, was recently transported, has not been entered, has been released, or is in a different custody system.
- Open the Three Forks Current Inmates page or the direct JailTracker roster.
- Enter the last name first. Add first or middle name only if too many matches appear.
- Use intake-date, offender ID, permanent ID, release-date, type, or agency filters if the interface shows them.
- Select a result to open the detail view and check intake date, status, identifiers, photo availability, and any configured detail sections.
- If the person is not listed, call Three Forks at (606) 464-2598 or check KOOL, VINE, BOP, or ICE depending on custody type.
JailTracker also has print and Export PDF controls. Those tools can help save a public view, but they do not turn a roster page into a certified court or jail record.
If the public app returns no record, avoid assuming release or no arrest. Recent arrests can be delayed by transport, medical review, booking workflow, or court orders. A person may also be listed under a different spelling, may have been released before the search, or may have moved to DOC, federal, ICE, or another county custody.
Wolfe County Roster Search Fields
The public roster supports text, date, and conditional filter fields. Some options are shown only when the agency has configured them. On a phone, the same data may appear as cards instead of a wide table, but the search purpose is the same: narrow the regional jail list to the person, date, or ID that fits the Wolfe County arrest.
| Field Label | Type | Required | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| First Name | Text | Unspecified | Optional narrowing field. |
| Last Name | Text | Unspecified | Use the surname for the first pass. |
| Middle Name | Text | Optional | Helpful when names repeat. |
| Gender | Dropdown | Optional if shown | Rendered only if agency gender options are configured. |
| Offender Id | Text | Optional | Local offender ID in the jail system. |
| Permanent Id | Text | Optional | Long-term identifier used by the roster system. |
| Intake Date Range | Date fields | Optional | From and to dates for booking intake. |
| Release Date Range | Date fields | Optional if enabled | Available only if released search is enabled. |
| Type / Agency | Dropdown | Optional if enabled | May show active, released, all, or agency values. |
Wolfe County Inmate Profile Fields
A public JailTracker profile is a roster view, not the whole jail file. The app supports photo display, name fields, agency fields, intake and release dates, status, gender, offender identifiers, VINE links, and dynamic detail sections. The jail can configure those detail sections, so charges, bond, housing, holds, or other fields may vary by current record.
The roster inventory also helps with records requests. If the public profile shows an offender ID or permanent ID, include it when contacting the jail. If only a name and intake date are known, provide those details and identify the arresting agency if possible. Clear identifiers reduce the risk of matching the wrong person.
| Field | What It Shows |
|---|---|
| Photo / Image | Booking photo when available, or "Image not available." |
| Full name | First, middle, and last name in the jail system. |
| Agency | Multi-agency source if the roster is configured that way. |
| Intake Date | Date the person was booked or admitted. |
| Release Date | Release date if released search is enabled and a value exists. |
| Status | Active, released, supervision, or another configured status value. |
| Offender Id / Permanent Id | Local and long-term identifiers used by JailTracker. |
| Detail sections | Name/value or table blocks that may include charges, bond, or holds if exposed. |
Wolfe County Inmate Search Fallbacks
Every documented access channel has a different role. A recent arrest may not show online until booking, medical screening, and data entry are complete. A court warrant may have a clerk record before the person is booked. A sentenced Kentucky prisoner may leave the regional jail and appear in KOOL. Federal and immigration custody are outside the county jail roster.
VINELink is also part of the chain. Kentucky DOC describes VINE as an automated notification system covering county jails, prisons, mental health facilities, and juvenile detention centers. It can send phone or email notice for release, transfer, escape, or parole hearing events when the record supports notification.
| Need | Best channel | Use when |
|---|---|---|
| Current regional jail custody | Three Forks JailTracker | The person may be lodged at Three Forks. |
| Roster missing or offline | Three Forks phone, (606) 464-2598 | The arrest is recent, the roster is empty, or timing is uncertain. |
| Sheriff incident or local arrest record | Wolfe County Sheriff's Office | The record was created by the sheriff's office. |
| Court case or bond status | Wolfe County Circuit Court Clerk | The issue is a docket, charge, bond, or case file. |
| State sentenced custody | Kentucky KOOL | The case moved into Kentucky DOC custody. |
| Federal or ICE custody | BOP or ICE locator | The case is federal or immigration-related. |
Wolfe County Jail Contact
The main jail information line for Wolfe County custody questions is the Three Forks Regional Jail number listed by Wolfe County resources. Use it to verify custody when JailTracker is unavailable, when a person was arrested very recently, or before sending money or traveling for a visit. The sheriff and dispatch numbers are separate law-enforcement contacts, not a substitute for the jail roster.
For written records, send the request to the office that keeps the record. A sheriff incident report belongs with the Wolfe County Sheriff's Office. A jail booking record, visitation record, or facility video request belongs with Three Forks. A docket entry, bond order, or case document belongs with the Wolfe County Circuit Court Clerk or Kentucky Court of Justice access path.

Wolfe County Jail Visitation Rules
Three Forks publishes on-site visitation times by population group. Each inmate receives one 15-minute on-site visit on each visitation day. Visitors need proper ID and must sign in. The jail says visits may be recorded, rules can change at the facility's discretion, and no-contact, restraining, and protection orders are enforced during visits.
| Population | Days | Time | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Male on-site visits | Wednesday and Saturday | 7:00 am to 2:30 pm | One 15-minute visit each visitation day. |
| Female on-site visits | Thursday and Sunday | 7:00 am to 2:30 pm | Two visitor limit, not counting children. |
| Segregation visits | Tuesday | 7:00 am to 11:00 am | Subject to jail discretion and security. |
Do not bring food, drink, cell phones, or cameras into the on-site visitation booth. Visitors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult before entering the booth.
Visits may be denied or ended for rule violations, security issues, improper behavior, or court-order conflicts. Because the jail says rules are subject to change at its discretion, the schedule should be confirmed before a long trip from Campton, Red River Gorge-area communities, or another county.
The official Three Forks visitation page lists the schedule and rules used for Wolfe County regional jail visits.
The visitation screenshot ties roster lookup to the next practical step: confirming visit eligibility and rules before traveling.
Wolfe County Inmate Money and Mail
Three Forks links CorrectPay for deposits and InmateSales for Chirps messaging. The jail page did not publish a local fee table, account limit, full video policy, or detailed inmate mail format. Because the research did not locate postcard-only rules, scan-and-destroy rules, or book-vendor limits, those details should be confirmed with the jail before mailing items or funding an account.
Do not use a vendor login as proof of custody. Deposit and messaging systems are service channels after the correct person has been identified. First confirm the person is still housed at Three Forks and not released, transferred, or listed under a different custody system.
| Service | Provider or detail | Research note |
|---|---|---|
| Money deposits | CorrectPay | Linked from the official Three Forks deposit page. |
| Chirps / messaging | InmateSales | Official page lists "Chirps: inmatesales.com." |
| Use facility address and call first | Detailed mail rules were not published in inspected jail pages. |
Note: Confirm custody with Three Forks before sending funds, mail, photos, books, or messages tied to an inmate account.
State and Federal Inmate Records
Kentucky DOC's KOOL information page explains that KOOL is the state offender search and also describes VINE as a custody notification system. Three Forks links to both KOOL and VINE from its own links page. Use KOOL for sentenced Kentucky offenders, including people who may have started with a Wolfe County arrest but later moved into DOC custody.
Federal custody is separate. The BOP inmate locator covers federal inmates from 1982 forward and warns that release dates can change because of sentence recalculation. The ICE Online Detainee Locator System uses A-number/country or biographic search for immigration custody. Neither tool is a Wolfe County jail roster.
No BOP prison or ICE detention center was located inside Wolfe County. A federal pretrial detainee can sometimes be housed in a local contract facility, but the research did not locate a Wolfe or Three Forks federal contract source. If a federal case is involved, check the federal court path, U.S. Marshals district contacts, BOP after designation, and the jail by phone only when local housing is plausible.
